Directions
- 1. In a small mixing bowl, add the non-dairy milk, sifted cacao powder (to reduce clumps), maple syrup, ground cinnamon, salt, and vanilla. Whisk until fully combined.
- 2. Add the chia seeds and whisk again to incorporate. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3–5 hours, or overnight, until the mixture reaches a pudding-like consistency. For best results, give the mixture an extra stir 30–45 minutes after refrigerating to prevent clumping.
- 3. Serve chilled with your desired toppings, such as fresh fruit, granola, or coconut whipped cream.
